Notes:
- Greg wasn't able to get set up until the very end of the third song so the
first two songs are completely missing from this recording and all but a few
seconds of d1t03 were missed. Not sure what d1t03 is?
- D2t02: there is a slight buzz present in the spoken word portion of the
Werewolves intro. It's very minimal, hardly worth noting, and not worth patching IMO.
- This is a fun show. As far as I know, Greg was the only taper there. There was some
over saturation and distortion in the bass. I've attenuated it to make it a lot less
prominent but it is still audible at a few spots, most noticeable when the kick drum
and cymbals coincide. Not a big issue at all. I reduced a great deal of claps that were
really overpowering, and reduced the volume on a bunch of the hoots and hollers. The
tape flip was cross faded. Various other process performed to flavor and smooth. Enjoy.
- Note from Greg : The Vogue is the mainstream nightclub in Indianapolis. It was the ONLY
place of it's size (800-1200) for bands to play, so it booked all sorts of good bands......
....heck, it still books a lot of good shows, it just has a little competition now...
We were sitting at a table just a few feet from the stage, a bit elevated
due to the layout of the place. The mics were hidden in a jacket and set at the edge of the
table, and we just left them there - pointed at the stage for the whole show. It was pretty
much a clear shot.
.......we somehow got in late and missed the first 3 tunes, so this recording reflects that
flub. Anyway, enjoy!
